That saxist, if I'm not mistaken, is world reknown sax great Raphael Ravenscroft, who was the sitting sax player for the Floyd on the Guiness World Record album Dark Side Of The Moon. He was also the sax player for the hit song "Baker Street" by Gary Rafferty and many others...Sometimes the sound doesn't come off quite right on a live performance like this so...STFU!! I don't like seeing Mr. Gilmour out of sorts....The last 25 years, He has become mellow, and more earthy/ bluesy- THAT is his best side.! - I so dig this song, tho- I had forgotten that it was one of hIs.. I would've loved to hear it with His current band, .. With Stevie-D on drums-Not sure if the recording is sped up, but, it seems the drums even are even running on too fast-

The sax is not doing it for me on this. Too fast and too fake jazzy as in elevator Muzak. Uuuggghhh. It sounds like he is playing to a different song. Otherwise, the song is brilliant. Thankfully the guitar sounds nothing like the sax and fits the song.
