I think what makes his music relatable to people who don't know what it's like to walk in his shoes exactly is because you can feel the pain, and relate to that vicariously through the words in comparison to your own pain. You both may not have the same experiences, but pain knows pain. Not all of the world's painful art is good by that standard, but David's music is dope.

Dude when the interviewer asked him about people doubting if Flint was as bad as he and other say, I gained so much respect for him when he just said “yeah I get that, people make shit up all the time”. Some people would say fuck the haters and all and this guy just says basically they don’t have to believe me cause I know, and anybody that knows me knows. Idk, but this guy has seen and done a lot, and he has a lot of wisdom as a result. Love him or hate him this is a very unique and genuine man.

New to king810 and I don't know why I didn't discover them years ago, their music is unique and I've never heard another metal band sing truth or bring truth forward as they do...
