I'm sure that every kid, and even many adults who owned a Casio digital watch back then, tried at least once to secretly call KITT with their Casio watch - but KITT never answered. 😅😅 Those were truly great years with David Hasselhoff. “Er kommt - Knight Rider - Ein Auto, ein Computer, ein Mann.”

Yes, for many decades, David has been famous in Germany, doing televison, theatre but most of all making albums in Germany. Germany number one for his fame by far, but also famous in the Netherlands - Northern Europe in general. His fame over there is as if he was from there and not the United States. Americans tend to know David famous only for Knight Rider and Baywatch.

I found David Hasselhoff's performance ASTOUNDING! His voice was smooth, strong, vibrant and great. At the end,..his voice was AMAZING...to be able to sing with such volume and hold it plus keeping in tune with the notes! Simply a great singer. He should have tried singing opera! I know that he would be a very good opera singer!

David Hasselhoff actually received classic opera singing training ( He sings in the Fach Heldentenor/ Heroic tenor), that's why he's able to sing in such a voluminus style. He did sing the role of Dr.Jackyll/Mr.Hyde in the musical of the same name by the way. That's the reason why his singing style sounds so opera-like.

I have been a big David Hasselhoff fan since i was a kid since his first knight rider episode to the end and through the Bay watch seasons that were even more entertaining. I gotta give it up to this man a great legend. And a great performer with so much authenticity.
