When Roth was on coke there are few interviews I can watch more than a few minutes, this is confirmed by his friends and bandmates, i.e. "when Dave is turned up, nobody gets a single word into the conversation, EVER". However, in his podcasts, for the most part he is just his usual hyperactive philosophizing introspective self fighting the ADD or whatever spectrum he's been on his whole life.

@@joshkava My comment stands regardless of how good or bad any individual episode is. Why doesn’t he spearhead a remaster of his solo albums? Some of them aren’t even in print anymore. Why doesn’t he release the John5 stuff as an album? Look at what David Coverdale has been doing with the Whitesnake catalogue over the last few years, remasters, remixes, bonus stuff for the fans etc. Dave forgets people like him because he used to be a singer and musician, he thinks people like him for 50 minute rambling monologues that don’t even make sense, or for repeating gags he has written down from the Dean Martin Comedy Roast which only he laughs at.
