Daisy, thank you again for posting some lovely bits from one of my favorite McCallum movies. There is something incredibly sexy in the slightly scruffy young McCallum. As someone else commented, no dialogue was needed. Their eyes and expressions tell their story. In watching the movie, we can't help but feel the love as they fall in love. When the war begins encroaching on them again, we feel their sadness. How sad that the movie was not widely circulated outside of Europe.

You know I have not been able to find this Movie "Robbery Under Arms" , it is no longer available. ,Thanks for reminding me he was in this movie:) I have not seen it for Many years:) Take care Daisy :)

David is a beautiful man. and a very Underrated actor, I Have Ravine only in a rip I had to buy, it is very poor quality. But such an unusual Movie with very little dialogue. Sad Ending! Didnt give it away in my clip:) take care daisy :)

I know Daisy, but that wont stop me pretending in my little vidding world- it can be adapted, recycled and intercut *goes to see out the film* All in all a very useful resource :) love bluemeany

Glad to see this. I was thrilled to have met David in '76 and '78 when he came to Atlanta to do 2 plays at the Peachtree Play house in Atlanta. Great man! He was so kind as well as handsome and I still feel enamoured by him. I'm older than he was when I met him. I was just 20 in '76.He was 43. Of course, now I'm 64 and he will be 86 soon! Do you still have the fanzine? I used to belong to it many years ago when I lived in Chamblee.
