Gibbs low key ran a half a yard wit Khalil Mack on his back that one tackle which shows how strong his legs are. He never goes down on first contact and is showing he’s more of a compete RB than ppl realize. And Monty is a lot faster than he gets credit for. It truly is a situation where you have two balanced backs. Gibbs brings that dynamic factor tho. He’s a game changer

Miami can make a good case for best duo, but lions have more yards after contact and missed tackles. Gibbs has been wonderful in somewhat limited action up to now.

I loved Jamaal. But I was the first one to say he wanted too much money. The lions o line made him 10x more productive then his talent and now that has been validated.

I personally consider our backfield to be more of a Cerberus than a two headed monster. Craig Reynolds has a fantastic mix of speed and tough run and fights for every inch every time he gets the call.

Cool thing about that 75 yard Monty run is that they had the wrong personel on the field for the play called. Amon-Ra noticed this, that he wasn't supposed to even be on the field and was yelling at Goff. Goff calmly changed the play to a basic run up the middle and boom. Good blocking downfield, great awareness and speed by Jamo to out pace him and get a key block.

Monty might be the best RB in the league right now truth be told. Gibbs without Monty was the Ravens game. Gibbs was shut down and so was the play action element of Goff's game. Monty is waaaay better than Gibbs (this season).

Ever since i was a kid and got into football around 2006, ive been DREAMING about a good O-Line for my Lions. FINALLY my dream has come true. Please give them credit, they are monsters out there! Damn Monty and Gibbs are killing em behind it too! Love this run game!! I could go on and on .......

What I love about Gibbs more than Swift is that he is always looking for contact instead of going out of bounds. Swift always used to run out of bounds to avoid being hit like a QB. Gibbs fights for that extra yard or chance to score.

If you watch the recent st bros podcast, Gibbs says he hates getting tackled, but I love that it doesn’t stop him from running into dance when he see’s it.
