The new thing is a crime scene, this guy could have been great had he not sought adulation of the left. I am not against going out, but they overdo it. I like coltrane and dolphy, you can paint outside but come back quickly. Why has this guy produced a straight ahead album?

I understand what you are saying. I think this group should have used another vehicle to go this route, or at least, if the lead goes "outside" as you say, maybe they all should have gone outside with him.

The piece is very hard to improvise on. Joe Lavano delivers a magnificent solo on the tune on his album "From the soul".
