About 15-16 years ago, when I was a highschool kid, I asked my music teacher to give me some nice piano tracks advices. He suggested Yanni. While searching and then listening to Yanni, somehow I met you, Mr Nevue. I don't really remember if it was on Myspace or somewhere else, but I'm glad i did. Actually I was trying to make some melancholic hiphop beats, and some of your solo piano tracks like "overcome", "while trees sleep" and "sweet dreams" were great for my amateur works. I made simple beats and wrote lyrics upon your beautiful piano tracks. Listened all your music and extended my musical knowledge. Had great memories and now, I don't even know where my rap songs are except my mind. I am a old listener of you, from a little town in western Turkey. All the best Mr Nevue! Thanks for your contributions to my life :)

@DavidNevuePiano I have to tell you David, that I was having a really dark and challenging day last week, so I went into prayer. Then your song came on randomly on Amazon music, and it truly moved me and inspired me to summon the strength to "overcome" what I was facing. I am so very thankful that my prayer was answered through the form of your music.
@DavidNevuePiano10 ай бұрын
@@Rook.G34 Wow, I'm happy that this piece was such a blessing and encouragement to you. Thank you for sharing that! I struggle often, as well, and I am so thankful for this music and the ability to express these emotions and prayers through the piano.

@DavidNevuePiano I really appreciate such a sincere response! I am pleased you could enjoy my story. This piece certainly is such a blessing. When I saw the word "overcome" it was like a bell being rung inside of me, the artwork was powerful too, and so I listened and was moved to tears. You know, I feel that God is constantly encouraging me, pointing out that if I just face every single challenge in front of me (internally or externally), then I would obtain the strength to become truly happy, and never again suffer. So this word "overcome" has been my focus/motto since, and I've been having one amazing day after the next, facing everything that comes to me. I've been listening to you every day, and have your music playing in the waiting room of my humble clinic. Your music does strike me as divinely guided, which I think is why I am gravitating towards it so much. I am happy you can express your spirit through your music, it probably helps a lot more people than you know. Not everyone is as expressive as I am and will tell you!
@DavidNevuePiano10 ай бұрын
@@Rook.G34 Regarding the daily struggles, expressing thankfulness to the Lord and focusing on contentment do help... it's hard to be both grateful/thankful and sad in the same moment. God is full of grace, and though this doesn't mean we avoid struggles, it does mean that He is with us and hears our prayers. Untimately, we just have to trust that whatever we are experiencing is for our greater good. I do believe that for those who suffer the most and yet keep their faith, will gain the most reward in the end. And, just keeping and eternal perspective helps. The world we are living in is full of sorrow, but there are joys too. I am thankful for the music, and for nature... just a walk outside will really lift my spirits.

Hi, I have just recently discovered your compositions and I love them! I played keyboard for a year when I was 12 years old and learnt basic theory. At 32 years old I have nearly finished my degree to be an early childhood teacher and am learning to play again on a digital piano so I can bring relaxing music into my teaching practice to inspire children and create a relaxing environment. I'm currently learning your arrangement of Jesu Joy Canon in D and am just looking through your other arrangements on musicnotes.com now, as I have finally found an intermediate level of music that I am comfortable learning. Love your arrangements and I plan to learn more of your work after Jesu Joy Canon in D (currently up to page 4). Happy to pay for your sheet music. Thanks for sharing!
