His biggest mistake was not playing as a right back instead! That way he could use his speed more and run further sprints without using his bad ballcontrol as much! Him as a right back overlapping the wingers would be way better for him!

When he was a kid he played nothing but defence but his coaches saw that he could hit the ball and run faster than most kids i would sit watch him practice said why doesnt madrd buy the kid

During Eric Abidal's first season at Barca, he was extremely fast (he could easily roast Evra in speed). He is still physically great today, but he was a real sprinter back then. Yet I remember in a game against Real Betis, in one specific instance, Odonkor just breezed past Abidal as if it was Walcott against Maxwell. It was insane.

David Odonkor ist ein Kämpfer. Er gibt immer 100%igen Einsatz, auch wenn er nicht der beste Ballkünstler ist. Ich würde sagen, wenn man ihn im defensiven Mittelfeld mit Konter-Ambitionen einsetzen würde, wäre er für jedes Team eine wahre Perle.

Ja ich seh das wie ihr. Durch das Ausscheiden im Pokal und in der EL sah man, dass unserer jungen Truppe die Erfahrung fehlt. Ein Odonkor mit seiner Erfahrung würde da perfekt reinpassen, vor allem akzeptiert man ihn der 8jahre beim BVB war sofort. Daher Pro Odonkor für die Meisterschaft !!!

Ich sags mal so: flanken dribbeln sprinten kann man alles lernen aber die geschwindigkeit kann man kaum erhöhen oder nur sehr schwer ergo: odonkor hat ein riesen potenzial dass schon vor langer zeit hätte geföhrdert werden müssen und wenn man sich mal anschaut wie "langsam" der rest im deutschen team ist und man dann in der 87. odonkor und schürle reinbringt dann kann man mit dem tor schon rechnen
