So glad to watch your relaxing, diversion video. So much going on in our world. It's nice to see a fun fountain pen video.

That last clip was great. I saw you breeze through it in the writing sample and was impressed that you just wrote it out with confidence. the behind the scenes look was more authentic 😊

What's great about your channel is that the format never changes, whether it's a $10 pen or a $6400 pen. That kind of consistency makes these reviews really useful since it's easy to pull up one and compare it to another. I also really dig that you actually ink up pens like this and still put them through their paces. It's nice to see pens being used to write, no matter how high end. My other hobby is photography and all too often, limited edition cameras from brands like Leica never take a single image. It's nice to see this pen presented as a pen and not just an alternative art medium that never writes a single word.

I really appreciate the range of pens that you cover on your channel David. Nice to learn about affordable as well as dream pens!

I had the chance to meet Mr. David Oscarson here in Houston, TX, and he showed me some of his beautiful pens. I was lucky enough to hold them, and I have to say, I’ve never seen anything like them. The craftsmanship is truly amazing, with so much attention to detail and quality. These pens aren’t just for writing; they are timeless Jewelry. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell for a lot more than its retail price someday.

I’ve never even owned any ‘designed’ pen. I love your channel. Your videos are fantastic, your attention to detail is so fun, and your production is worth every minute. Keep up the fantastic work.

David Oscarson designs some stunning pens! His band of craftspeople are equal to any in the world of high end pens. D.O. is also un-paralleled in his sartorial elegance, always the best dressed at the pen shows. Did not get the chance to talk to him at the last Los Angles show but looked with awe and fascination at the pens. As soon as my lottery ticket wins, I am heading straight to his next event and buying a pen.

I enjoyed this. I’ve never seen one of David’s pens examined. Funny blooper at the end.

Extremely beautifully, exquisitely done pen. Very desirable. Alas, in a rarefied zone with that price. And the mention and sight of a Jowo nib was a let-down for a pen costing this much. I realise that Jowo gold nibs (mainly the #8 sized ones) are not as generic and pedestrian as their steel nibs are. But if only D.O. would have made and fitted a made-in-house 18k gold nib - like Cartier, or S.T. Dupont do. Well-done review of a very lovely looking pen. Your outro was charmingly funny.

I really like the attention to detail, specially when it comes to the writing side of such functional piece of art. I mean, the included o-ring + tool for those that would like to eye-drop it is great

When I heard you had two pens, I thought, for sure, one would be a give-away! 😞Bummer...LOL. Really enjoyed the review including the Crown & Anchor trivia and the visual close-ups. Fascinating to learn more about what goes into this kind of art. Very much appreciate learning more about what I do not aspire to, though other may. Thank you David

Great review of this pen David, and Art Nouveau is a favourite.

Yama Budo was my first thought, but was looking for some sort of art nouveau connection, so dismissed it! Should have gone with my first instincts.

Wow that's a one heavy pen.
@sajjadhusain41466 ай бұрын
Because it is apparently solid sterling silver which inevitably means a weighty pen, instead of just an ‘overlay’ as is common with many silver pens..
@sdrc07086 ай бұрын
@@sajjadhusain4146 Yeah I just can't fathom how anyone will be able to write more than 5 minutes with such a heavy pain.
@sajjadhusain41466 ай бұрын
@@sdrc0708 It is overly heavy, no question. Even when unposted (I never post any of my pens) it is still over 50g. I guess, I’m used to weighty solid sterling pens. I have a handful that are all (capped) 70g+ in weight. I can manage a moderately long writing session with any of them.
@paulmchugh14306 ай бұрын
Beautiful. I know Oscarson pens are luxury items but this is extreme for them. But the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. It is particularly heavy. I am sure it is the amount of silver used in the pen. It is not for me due to price and weight. Are you totes to purchase it?

This pens are nice but at this point it goes from a pen to luxurious object
@PenFriendsАй бұрын
All pens are a luxury in many ways. I know it may seem strange to say a safari is a luxury product. But for many people this is about all they can afford. This pen is functional art. It’s a celebration of human skill and dedication.

Beautiful pen - except for the clip, which in my opinion is a bit too much.
