Wow. I was taught by TJ & Dave. Such solid concepts that need to keep being put out there. So important. Loved listening to this. So relevant for every day no matter what job you are in. Any audience, corporate or public. Reflecting back I think that there was a "stand up" group. Then there was a Chicago Improv group. Key point: if its at the expense of the scene or comic, who does it serve. As a stand up. How do you act without bringing in a comedic premise. People see what you are thinking, vs “Acting”. Real and in the moment. My first experience, killed….. because I didn’t learn any of the rules of the Harold… and my partner on stage was a girl… and…she started with… we were married… and I had just cheated…(that was now truth). As a new improviser …. I froze… realized what I had to commit to…. As Truth…. my face turned red… I was no longer acting…. I thought about real emotions…. (I was in trouble, big time)…. Thank you for this. Honest & in the Moment. :)
