I love that you included Moira's line, "He sees you, for all that you are." One of the best lines in the entire series and it seems rarely quoted.

Moira was trying to let David know that Patrick wasn't just a two-bit male hussy that was going to leave him as soon as his insecurities started showing up. That his past relationships started to fall apart because of those insecurities. That Patrick was in this relationship for the long run.
