DAVE ALLEN taken to hospital. Getting a brain scan, but apparently he will be OK! He takes too much hits every single fight. He needs to either quit boxing or make adjustments. I'm please kind of DAVID PRICE finally got an overdue win. He outclassed the younger man. Even though Price is almost 40, he showed his pedigree finally. Paced himself well and showed all his experience and maturity. He didn't gas out, and Dave Allen wasn't smart enough to pick holes. We know Price has weaknesses in his game, but one thing is he hits hard. Only person that AJ has officially admitted to having KO'd him in sparring. Whyte was also told to pace and be patient pre fight and later in the fights your time will come. He did that while controlling the fight almost perfectly against a high pedigree, 300 amateur fight, 26 profession fight, undefeated Rivas, who was picked by quite a lot of people to win tonight. Whyte tough fight after tough fight, against young top fighters or undefeated fighters. No one in the division has fought that many consecutively. Also all his opponents are dangerous punchers too, and all round solid.

As much as I like David Price I still feel like Povetkin is a step too far. There are good fighters, world class fighters and elite fighters. Price is the former, povetkin the middle and the likes of Fury being the latter. As much as I like Price and want to be proven wrong I see the Povetkin rematch only going one way

Made up for Pricey. Boxing casuals are the worst in the world. Take the piss out of him because he’s taken some big KO’s and now probably laughing at Allen because he’s lost. Bandwagon jumpers. David Price is a tough man for coming back from some of those heavy losses. Hope he goes on to some big fights. A lot of heavyweights say he hits harder than anyone out there, so if he can stay out of danger and land that big punch he can trouble anyone. Good win tonight lad, much deserved.
