I have a similar situation. I was born with hydro-cephalis (form of CP) I was teased as a kid and almost died a few times. Now at 51 (two weeks) I know that God has a plan. I served in the church for 30 years (1984 - 2014) in various ways. God bless David Ring.

How about all of the people who are born with mental defects, diseases, deformities, addicted to heroin, or other drugs, or born in a unresponsive state, and have no use of their body but are fully aware of what's going on around them? All of those that I described who didn't have loving parents or were just abandoned, and end up in some mental illness facility or govt ran facility where they will most likely live their entire lives trapped in a body that doesn't work and will never work with a conscious mind ... could you imagine the horror of a lifetime trapped in a lifeless body? Or any of the other utterly terrible things associated with such a cruel existence? Could you imagine the frustration!!? How could" God" do such a thing to any soul? There is no explanation or grand plan in place for those people.. only suffering every day over and over until death. Yes there are people born with disabilities, and all types of different illnesses, mental, and physical deficiencies that carve out a happy existence and usually because they had parents that loved them and didn't give up or lock them away somewhere, BUT what about all of those people like this who didn't have the same level of care love, or mental aptitude to make something of themselves or actually able to just live a happy life regardless of their problems or struggles because those people do exist whether you want to believe it or not. How about the thousands of children that die before they ever reach 5 years old? Globally 3.9% of all children die before reaching the age of five, which means that on average 15,000 children die every day. FOR WHAT?? WHAT REASON COULD THERE POSSIBLY BE FOR "GOD"TO TAKE SO MANY INNOCENT CHILDREN'S LIVES EVERYDAY? I'M SORRY BUT THERE IS NO REASON FOR THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THEIR PARENTS /FAMILIES EVERY DAY ON THIS EARTH. How about the thousands of babies that are aborted, die in the womb, die during birth, die from "complications" days after birth, or any of the other gazillion ways an innocent baby dies on this earth each day. So why would God create a life ,then extinguish or take back that gift of life from a baby before it can even experience life at all? No reason will ever justify such things...how could anything justify that? Think about all of the babies that die from malaria, and starvation in Africa, and that's not mentioning the other atrocities that befall babies at the hands of rival warlords, and the constant violence that the civilian population commits against each other over ...guess what.. religion. You're either a Muslim or a Christian and you can be killed for being either depending on which group is carrying out attacks that day. The rival warlords cannibalize children because they believe it will give them great powers to fight and survive in a battle... Is there really a Reason or a plan "God" has in place that can actually make it ok for a baby to be chopped up and consumed by a bunch of lunatics hopped up on drugs, and on the way to kill more innocent people and their rival gangs and warlords? I have tried to find a way to understand how these things should be overlooked and that it's not our place to know and just have faith that "God" has a reason no matter how unbelievably disgusting reality is at times. I just don't buy it.

The Very First Time, I Ever Heard David Preach was around 1994. Back then one of my Co-workers , when we were working for the AF as A/C workers in DOD. It was tge Friday , and Weekend. He said, Take this Home and watch it. It was way back when VHS tapes were still the thing. DVD'S hadn't come out yet. It was about David, hadv8 Sermons on bbn it. I was like OKAY. I said, after reading the Explanation. Don't know if I'll like this or not. We worked the Evening shift , got off around 12 to 1am. But anyway, I said I'll listen to one maybe and watched the rest later. After the first 5 to 10 minutes I was Drawn in By David and the Love of Jesus Christ, and the Victory in Jesus!!! I listen to the 4 or 5 Sermons. It was Daylight when I went to Bed. He is Amazing. Not sure if he is still Preaching, but if so Pray to see him in Person one day at a Crusade Service of David here in Middle Ga...Amen God Bless David Ting and His Family...Amen

What an awesome testimony that he has and God has indeed used him in a mighty way to tell all about Jesus and remind us that God does use willing hearts. All we have to do is be willing to be used no matter what our life background is. Praise the Lord David was willing to be used by God. I thank God He didn’t throw the clay away, He just molded him into a vessel He could use and use it He has in this man. Thank you David for the powerful words you spoke to us today. And victory in Jesus can be anyone’s if we are willing to serve and obey Him all the way.

When I was a younger woman in 1998, I saw David Ring speak at Cornerstone Church here in San Antonio, and then he made it back here the Sunday before last Sunday of this year.I cried tears of joy and sorrow during his whole testimony, and then at the end, I did not have the money to buy his book so I got in line and asked God to give me the opportunity to speak to David Ring. I told David that I had Cereberal Palsy in my legs too, and that his testimony inspired me. He gave me a hug, and said I love you to me. Even though David and I have Cereberal Palsy, We are destined to be winners and champions in the game of life!!

The first time I heard David, a friend of mine at work gave me a VHS tape of David, had 8 sermons on it. He gave it to me to take home over the Weekend. He said take it home, and watch it. Bring it back Monday, and let me know what you think. I said oh well. I'll look at it. Well, let me tell You, after feeding my horses, and getting ready for bed, as it was late. We work the evening shift. I started the tape, said I don't know if I am going to like this. Boy, Howdy, it didn't take even 5 minutes. I said at first, I can't understand him. The power of God came into my Heart, as I said with in , I' ll say, 2 minutes or less. I was glued. I could Understand clearly, every single word David was saying...I stayed up till 4:30 am I know, if not later. Maybe 5:00am... listening to a fellow brother in Christ. I called Mama, and got her out there on Saturday, and we listened to all 8 sermons on the VSH tape. Got my brother to listen to it as well. He is AWESOME, and a MIRCLE of our Lord and Savior. I always remember his declarance for the 11th Commandment ..."THOU SHALT NOT BELLY ACHE"... I HAD LOST MY HUSBAND AT 33 YRS OLD IN 93. MY DADDY PASSED IN 94' WITH ALSHEIMERS, AND COLON CANCER. I THINK THIS WAS IN 97'. I had just got through taking chemo for Breast Cancer, had a mastectomy. I knew and still know the Lord, but David instilled in me a Courage to keep going, because what I had been through was nothing compared to what he had been through. All he has done and still is doing today , so many years later. His health like all of us has deteriorated some, but it is a part of aging for all of us. He truly is amazing. God Bless David , and his Wife, and Children, 5 I believe, and Grand Children now. As He says To God Be The Glory... Amen, Amen, Amen... Love To All In Christ...

What a tremendous testimony. My heart goes out to David, with his crying out to God in his darkest moments of loneliness and rejection for almost all of his life--until he met the Only One who could take away all his sorrow and loneliness, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. People wonder what it is about us Christians, why we're so wrapped up in Jesus--it's because he has done a supernatural work within all of us by saving us, delivering us and setting us free from sin, sickness and sorrow. Only Jesus can do that for us.

Know that God has a purpose for your life. He has you here for a reason. Perhaps find others like yourself who have lost loved ones and help them celebrate their lives. I have found that by becoming a blessing my life is more blessed. We don't always get to choose our life's circumstances, nor the resulting directions they may go, but we can be a friend to others and help them along in their journey, even when our family has abandoned us or we have lost them through death, etc. As we strive to enrich others lives and help them reach their potential, our lives are not so lonely, but more fulfilled and richer for it. What is God calling you to do and be with your life? Your loved ones have gone, but others may be waiting for you to focus on them and you letting them into your life. Someone needs you to make a difference for them. Others need you to let them be that difference for you. We can't accomplish much if we look back too often to what we can't change. Never forget your loved ones, but I encourage you to take what you have learned from them and your life's challenging circumstances and do something to go help someone else to have a better life. We all have our losses to grieve and reflect on, but victory in overcoming any challenge is to press ourselves forward in Jesus name and strength (Philippians 4:13) and strive to help others in this race of life. Set your mind Christ Jesus and things above. Ask Him what He would have you do while you have life and remain on this earth below. Forget what is behind, I buffet my body and press towards the goal that is in Christ Jesus. God loves you and has not forgotten you. He has a calling for you yet to fulfill. Seek Him and discover what that means for your life.
