So if you mix your whole life with Jamaican people by your side and travel there often you will pick up the accent just like papa Rodigan has, it's not a problem to most only certain people. Its a DJ competition, basically. Usually there is a 2 man crew, a DJ (the Selecta ) and an MC who riles up the crowd in their favor . David Rodigan stands out a little cause hes white, and has no DJ, he is the DJ and the MC. And he has VERY rare , AMAZING roots reggae tracks that no-one else has. Its very common to play these songs for only 5-10 seconds ! Certain songs are only played for about 2 1/2 seconds! Better know your tunes in this scene !
