Un chef d ‘œuvre d ‘interprétation et de composition une interprétation qui n a jamais été égalée même sur instrument d époque tant l esprit , la liberté et aussi le suspense sont en accord avec l ‘esthétique romantique chapeau bas ….

Ommiting all PP and P, ommitting all 'dolce' and 'dolcissimo' in the score, but very masterfull.

The word "PERFECTION" is not enough to describe David Russell's performance of this piece
@juanjosebeginesruiz10292 ай бұрын
The track is not played by David Russell, despite the claim in the title. The description indicates this discrepancy. Please change the title or I will report it.

I mean, it's great to hear and all, but David Russell has put so much of his playing and even him practicing up on his own channel, it's like... idk. Why would you have to do it. Did you ask him if you could? Just sayin' seems like theft to me....It's been up for four years so I'm sure he's okay with it. or it would be gone by now... :)

Stop! Enough of doubts! I ask and I demand that a genetic analysis be done right now on this man so that it is known whether he is human or not !

I don't know a more beautiful guitar piece from the romantic period. D.R. 's expression makes it sing.

The balance of expression was amazing... Enjoyed that very much... 😎👍

i heard him to play this in a recital. it was more lively more dramatic more of everything. gosh i wish he recorded this piece in such a fantastic, not calm, interpretation.

This is as close to a definitive version of mertz' elegie as you're gonna get. He sticks to the music and nails all that fancy footwork without being too Spanish about it.

That's what dedication, devotion and a good dose of concentrated hard work can produce. Calling people naturally able or genius does not take into account or remotely understand the amount of hard work they put into their art. It doesn't do them justice, in fact, it is and insult to their dedicated drive for perfection and obsessive quest to achieve even greater things.
@afterlate88663 жыл бұрын
I agree that an enormous amount of work and dedication is required to play to this standard, but the very fact that some can, and do, work extremely hard for a lifetime already points to the fact that some are more able to do so than others; they are more driven than others and that, in itself, is a gift that few have. Further, there are differences between those players who reach the very heights of excellent playing and there are always one or two who excel above even the best of the best, when they have most likely put in the same amount of effort and dedication. Yes, they do have a natural ability; it's not all about the hours you put in. Many dedicate their days to learning and playing and yet still don't reach these higher standards, sadly.
