I want to apologize in advance for coming on the scene this late and finding out about this incredible guitarist. As long as I have been listening to David Sanborn how could I miss this guy. Anyhow RIP Hiram your music will live on thanks to KZbin giving people like me a glimpse into your awesome past performances.

So shocked to learn that Hiram passed. I had no idea. This is exactly as I remember him. He was a phenom on stage. I loved his playing and bought his album. So funky. I was equally shocked to see a more recent photo of him in the mid 2000's. Health is wealth. He is in a better place now, but I am saddened by this news. I was still hoping to see him play again. Peace to you, Hiram.

Yeah, Hiram is no longer with us....David lived in Woodstock NY. This band was a regular at a small club..The Joyous Lake. It was some of the best music, man! Fortunate for me, I was there "a lot" and so were they-early 70's to late.
