I just recently purchased the Reed Geek Universal Tool and I have to say that I'm blown away by this tool. So much easier and more controllable than a reed knife. I love it so much that I bought another one to keep in my other sax case. So far, It's brought back to life about 80% of the reeds that were not usable. Do yourself a favor and buy this tool. It will pay for itself with the first 2-3 boxes of reeds you buy.

I got a Reed Geek at reedgeek.com and found it works great. All the times I have over corrected with my knife made me super happy to have a tool that is so controllable. It's especially nice to dial in a stuffy reed in seconds. Thanks, Mauro. Greg Adams
