Sadly, the world of figure skating is all about the jumps and how many revolutions a skater can get doing them. Skaters could learn a lot from this young man about the beauty and artistry of figure skating. I can't remember the last time I felt truly captivated by a performance. Well done!

Reminds me so much of the artistry of the Great Toller Cranston of Canada. RIP He is a reverse spinner and jumper like Toller was. It’s too bad he has no jumping ability.

He's a beautiful skater with unusually impressive extensions but he lacks consistency with his jumps and seems to shy away from taking the risks necessary to make him a great skater by missing 3 jumps in his program, a shame. I hope he works on that because his artistry is gorgeous but not enough for competitions.

Easy route? There are none in competitive figure skating. I don't know his background at all, age, etc, but I have seen kids change to pairs/ice dance when they "know" they won't be competitive for jumps. Unfortunately, that is what is comes down to now in Figure skating, you HAVE to be competitive , have all the difficult jumps, triple axel is minimum for men now. He has magnificent , exquisite form and likely would be a great ice dancer IF he wants to keep putting in the time, and esp has the money to do it. LOTS of test to pass, dances to learn etc. So no easy route, But he is wonderful, and I'm so glad I found this video :) Hope that answers you response. My best to you,@@jrg305

I'm here to be honest that was a horrible performance & his jumps aren't stable at all. No competition for the top 5 maybe 7 men of todays mens skaters. Artistry is only going to get you but so far in today's skating. Just being honest.
