He figured this out when he went to a store (Macy's) where they have those 4-5 mirrors that surround you so you can see your outfit from all sides. So he was saying that he looked in each mirror, on a scale from 1-10, "front mirror 6, just off to the side 5, then 2 2 2" from the other mirrors.
