Thank you for posting. I do wish that the people who host these events would stop trying to best DT and just let him talk. I have only been a fan for a short time and even I know DT married a daughter of a previous doctor. But thank you again for posting! Many of us cannot get to one of these types of conferences.

THANK YOU! it was so annoying! half of the panel was wasted on the kilt game, come on! it got old already after the second one! and yeah the "married the doctors daughter" was boring and cringy as well. good thing he didn't add "AND SHE PLAYED HIS DAUGHTER" 🙈🙈 so the consequence of having an attention seeker moderator is that we got super few fan questions... 😢😢😢

@@nat55041 yes! Totally agree! I think I would have been disappointed to be there and have to sit thru what was basically the moderator’s personal bonding with DT with the kilt game. My ideal would be to just let the fans (who paid to be there) ask as many questions as time allows and give the spotlight to DT. He is so witty, charming and kind.

I really love the panels where the hosts are knowledgeable and witty but don't make any of the panel about showing off themselves. The light banter and supporting comments in those are delightful to watch. It's unfortunate our host here couldn't help himself.

A good moderator is there to prop up the guest and help the audience to communicate with them. If you think you might be more interesting than the guest, and in order to show off your engaging personality you end up interrupting the guest when they talk as well as audience members when they ask questions, you probably should think about choosing a different job.

couldn't agree more. i feel David was very gracious with the intereuptions and with the annoying questions/adressing of his private life (he is a pro , after all)

@abimitchell1442 Well, I mean... played by an American. Don't know what's confusing you about that, but I mean the Doctor being played by an American actor is an idea that, as a Brit, makes me feel ill. Hearing the Doctor speak with an accent as annoying as an American is an awful thought.
