This a testament to what improvised music should/could be. No ProTools, no computers, just genius performers. Do yourself a favor. Find this cd and buy it. Pass it along. Generations in the future will thank you!

I love this performance! These musicians are incredible and it's so nice to hear them play "Cloud about Mercury" live. I would love to see a dvd of an entire performance of this album. David Torn is the most underrated guitarist . He is a superb guitarist/musician/composer.

Live and studio are two different things. Music evolves. Listen to Bill Nelson's "After the Satellite Sings." One does not preclude the other. Great band though. I've had this CD for 20 years or so, it certainly plays better when you see them playing it. Worthy of wider recognition. Very advanced stuff.
