David is a most talented performer but here the tune is not played in a true hornpipe tempo. The style played here is that of “swing” whereas the High LevelHornpipe is a céili piece of music. For a comparison please do listen to Vanessa Millar’s rendition of the High Level Hornpipe on accordion.
