Stephen Tuthill It will always be that way in cycling, that's what I've come to realise as I've found out more about it's history. That's the 'omerta'. The ingrained way of thinking seems to be 'people don't understand how hard it is, doping is acceptable in our sport'. That's my take anyway, I don't think the sport will ever be completely clean.

This guy is a great reporter..... He goes into places nobody wants to go too... Sky team could not wait to take all the plaudits , Olympics etc... everyone got their knighthoods but now it is all coming out. We don t want to believe it , we all want to think Wiggins in one of the lads but surely they must have known what they were doing. I still think the Lance Armstrong story is a hoax but the evidence is all there , and the video and the witnesses ... It begs the obvious question of WHY he went after Lance so hard. Granted, LA was prick, but why give Froome a free pass just because he seems like a nice guy ?? : (

If Sky, with the these TUE's followed the rules & regulations as were established, then no problem. If yhey didn't, they cheated.

They broke no rules per se, but this is really an ethical question, and is made worse by the attitude of Brailsford when he started Team Sky. A zero tolerance to doping. To appear whiter than white, and then introduce this massively grey area brings the morality of the team into question. Looking at all the evidence, they doped Wiggins but did it legally. It would appear the rules around TUE's need to change.

The sport was at a pinnacle...when Lance was winning or in the Tour.. the drama , the accusations, the cancer recovery, the torture, the miracles etc etc.... and they destroyed it... Everyone was doping .. so who cares... everyone was winning.. and walsh wanted to steal the ball and close the game down.... all they should have done is make the mountains courses etc etc bigger etc ...bit more trash talking etc... get the viewers in......Then walsh saying Sky clean.. they run a train and made the sport boring... and they were all asthmatic ..... all droided up... Like honestly .. How the heck should an asthmatic win the Tour... maybe i am 400w lower than the winners.. maybe I should get a boost to make me competitive =p.. a electric bike perhaps? =p It's worse now.. some can droid up legally whereas the no asthmatics must live on bread and water .. Kimmage called this correctly. Back in 2013 when Brailsford asked Walsh to visit with the team to check that they were above board his ego and new found celebrity got the better of him and he accepted. He was singing their praises within the first month with what could only have been incomplete knowledge. He now has to do a U turn. Lost all respect for this fella...
