David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

If you had to think of one thing Satan could do to stop a bunch of people from being saved, what do you think that one thing would be? Confuse people on the name by which man can be saved, Jesus Christ. Do you know that the Hebrew language that the old testament was written in did not use vowels? Also that it was a dead language for almost 1500 years. The original new testament was written in Greek and Jesus Christ is the name by which we are saved. You are unintentionally giving praise to a false god by praising that name. There's a few good documentaries available here on utube dealing with this deception. The best on the topic is "The Sacred Name"

They have bought the Oprah Winfrey lie that they are entitled to having it all. For the men that are dumping their wives, they are disobedient to Scripture(except for in cases of fornication).

There is a verse in James 2 that says "you have not because you ask not". Jesus needs you to move towards Him as we all have a free will. He will not force Himself on your freewill. He draws you continuously but you need to move towards Him. He needs you absolutely humbled, meek and broken. He will not react to pride or self righteousness.....He requires a complete surrender. That is legal ground for Him.....He will bring you victory over sin, you will hate it and cry over it. You will begin to see the world through different eyes and see it for the cesspool it is.....be in the world but not of it. Once the Lord changes your heart, you will overcome. What every man truly needs is a circumcised heart....cry out to Him in repentance with a true heart as only He can discern the heart which is deceitfully wicked (Jeremiah) and He will be there. Live an obedient life unto Him and His word. Truly put your faith and trust in Him alone and not yourself. Put Him first above all and make Him Lord of your life and having done all, stand! @@marytitus88 No! ...you will never be able to save yourself, none of us can. thats the beauty,,,,is knowing this and fully surrendering to Him. It says in the bible that God resists the proud so what you need to do is surrender.....stop trying....stop relying on yourself, get in prayer and ask Jesus to take away your proud heart and to give you a soft fleshly heart and to take the hardness out of it and to remove the resentment, to make you a new creation. He is the discerner of the heart and only He can read it. If you come to him half hearted, He knows it. Do you want to change and be with Him for eternity? sounds like you do! ....you can't change you but He can!!! He is the chain breaker.....ask Him to break this pride. Lucifer was thrown out of heaven because of his pride first and foremost and I believe that that is one of the worst sins in Gods eyes (I know they are all bad) Ask Him to take away your prideful heart and renew it in Jesus name. He gave you breath, He gave you life and knit you in your mothers womb, He deserves NOTHING but our thankfulness....we need to live in a place of thanksgiving because He loves us all so much and has shown us all such mercy. I heard a pastor preach about the Lot story (soddom and gommorah) recently, but with a different take on it... he basically said that the reason the city was destroyed was not because of homosexuality, but that people were having sex w angels.... he also referenced the flood of Noah's time. Supposedly the giants/nephilim were offspring of human and angel reproduction, and THAT is why the destruction came. It was an interesting take on the story. I can't say that I'm totally sold on that view of it, but it is something to ponder.

I did not hear the gospel of Christ~by which we are saved when we BELIEVE it~preached in this sermon. Instead, I heard this pastor preach that our salvation is dependent upon what WE DO…..turning from the world, turning from sin. Those things are good if done in Christ, but they do NOT save us and cannot justify us before God. Only Christ’s shed blood, death and resurrection redeems us to God and justifies us~~~by God’s grace through FAITH, ALONE in Christ and what HE DID FOR US. If you are adding anything to Christ’s work on the cross for your eternal salvation, you are believing “another gospel”, which cannot save.

May The Lord Jesus Christ give you strength to over come. It's not easy for Pastor David to declare God's Word. It would be far easier just to sit back and leave people to their own choices. I know what you mean though, I was a heroin/meth addict, adulterous lady for 17 years been clean now almost 3 years by the grace of God, it’s hard not to look back when it’s all you have ever known, but you know what is awesome? God has the grace & provision we need!! Just ask Him! Tell Him you are struggling and you know there is no way you can save yourself, tell Him everything you love is sinful and wrong, ask Him for new desires and a heart that only beats for Him, He will give it to you! I prayed that 4 years ago and I’m telling you, God made a way for me when there was NO POSSIBLE WAY. Gods power is real and He will give you authority over devils work in your life, I think a lot of it is knowing who we are in Christ, you have been made new believe it and believe everything God has said
