I'm so thankful we have these messages of David Wilkerson. I'm 62 and have been a student of his ministry. I took study lessons at the age of 16. A man of God. God had a plan for this man. Even in death his message is still anointed by the power of the Holy Ghost. I was addicted to a TV for years. I didn't even know you were in the room. But God delivered me. As a minister once saith, you wouldn't bring rape, cursing, etc. In your home ...but you are through a TV. It will destroy your walk with God. Amen Bro. David.

Once upon time Jesus loved me like I was the only One present. He told me once, after I repented of denying Him for good looks, then truly repenting, I felt the loving thought, "You're not getting rid of me." Yet... 3 years ago I renounced Him, and felt a slight plea in me (the Holy Spirit, I believe) Yet I crushed Him and His love, and He left me. I cannot get Him to come back. I failed Him unforgivably. Did He lie to me? Well, the Lord has forsaken me utterly. I am seeing where my idolatry and self-worship led me into this unforgivable state. Jesus truly IS NOT answering my prayer. THE SPIRIT HAS FORSAKEN ME TRULY, and it's all my fault! All Jesus ever DID was love me, but, my violent desire to be good-looking 'cause me to deny Him multiple times. I CAN ONLY HOPE what Charles Spurgeon said is true: That, when we sin, the Spirit bears long with us until His grief becomes excessive, and He takes His actual Presence from us. He also says the Spirit never totally abandons a child of God. I AM the only 1 person who can say Jesus has failed me now, because of my sin. It's all my fault. Well, I have prayed 5 times, "Lord, if I AM hopeless, and unpardonable, let someone tell me they are praying for me," and it has happened 5 times. I have prayed this maybe 10 times, but He has answered 5 out of 10, BUT... I have prayed many many more times, "Lord, if You still love me. If there still IS hope, then let someone tell me they are praying for me." ZERO TIMES has Jesus answered this prayer. My track record for answered prayers is 0% A real Jesus answers REAL prayers! So the sense Jesus is slowly coming back to me has to be a counterfeit because if it was REALLY JESUS He'd answer my prayer for reassurance I HAVE NOT COMMITTED the unpardonable sin! Instead, Jesus has answered my apostate prayer for reassurance I AM unpardonable. If Jesus will not answer my prayers for reassurance am NOT unpardonable, it makes it all but impossible for me to believe He will hear me when I beg forgiveness. It is truly grueling work to pray to Jesus! In November, 2014, I struggled after reading a book about being born again. I wrestled and prayed until I finally felt myself giving that part of me I had been holding back from Jesus all my 30 + years as a "Christian". I KNEW something after that! In the months following I'd find myself asking, "What's happening to me!" in wonder! I can only call what I had received from Jesus as something precious that made the prior thirty years of my Christian life - the answered prayers, the Bible wisdom, and the sweet sense of Jesus as a teen - seem like GARBAGE compared to what I now had! Jesus has taken His Spirit from me, and that is why I am in this miserable state. Last year I was unable to come to Christ because I had an inner assurance I had committed the sin unto death. Yet I still believe in Jesus and the Bible with all of my heart. NOW, I feel a sense of Light and an ability to that I didn't feel last year, but now unbelief and doubts as to whether Jesus is even real are holding me back, the the inner assurance of having committed the sin unto death is all but gone. 2018, the year I renounced Jesus (against the Spirit's plea to not to) and up until the present, has been the most unhappy years of my existence EVER! I feel a slight germ or spark of desire for Jesus, but I cannot come back to Him! I just can't! This unbelief, this deadness in me. This is a tear-jerker sermon, but what about David Wilkerson's sermon, "When Jesus Shuts the Door"? Where Jesus WILL abandon you, shut the door, and allow a child of God to go to hell? I am thinking more and more seriously about killing myself. I am terrified daily of going to hell. I can't stand the fearful expectation. I might as just get it over and kill myself and go to hell, so I don't have to fret so much about how bad it will be.

Friend, I sense the desperation in your comment here. Jesus has NOT forgotten you. The devil is telling you these things, He promised he would never leave you nor forsake you. God cannot lie. Listen to what David Wilkerson says here (about 7:00) about taking those thoughts captive. Don’t feed them. Your feelings may lie to you and we won’t always feel his presence but He is still with you trying to teach you to go deeper in him. You can look up the book the salvation of your soul by Watchmen Née. A godly man that talks toward the end of this book about the ups and downs we go through in our feelings and how God wants to teach us to trust him during those lower times. Don’t look to your feelings as the gauge of his love. Look up scriptures of his love and forgiveness. Confess everything to him and then believe he has forgiven you. Killing yourself is never the answer. Satan is telling you this so he can snuff out the work God wants to do in your life. I just wanted to encourage you in the Lord.

Oh my friend, your plight is truly heart wrenching. All I can say is that there have definitely been worse sinners than you that have trampled the holy spirit and, I believe, have found redemption in him. I would argue that just the fact that you are so stricken by this is evidence that the spirit is in fact working in you. I believe the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the holy spirit is done through spite. Informed and willful. The lord knows we are weak to the point of death. He died for us because he KNOWS we are utterly hopeless without him. Step forward in faith. Believe he can and will redeem you with all of your heart and the lord may use this experience to transform you into a powerful force for his glory. Love from a repeatedly fallen junkie in Louisiana. All glory to the mighty lamb of God.

I greatly enjoy these messages. It would be nice if you could post the date they were first preached. Especially on those like this one, when he spoke of things to come so far ahead and after all these years we are seeing the fulfillment of them. He never called himself a prophet, yet he was a true seer in a day it was not " fashionable" as those pretending today enjoy so carnally. What a blessing he has been for so long to so many.
