I grew up in such a violent and dysfunctional home, I was on the streets at 14. They did a 2 page spread in the Toronto Sun about my family; it was that bad. I felt rejected, alone, and unloved. But, God. He saw me. Today, I own my own home outright. My children call it the mini mansion. I said to the Lord, if you have given me this beautiful home on earth, I can hardly imagine what my heavenly home looks like. I went from living on the streets as a pauper to being invited to the banquet hall and table of the King of Kings. It has been a slow process to heal from my past, but God is patient. He is showing me I matter. If He can do this for me, He can do this for you dear heart. Leave it with Him.

My wife and I have lived through such times of testing and proving things that drove us to the point of breaking. We have had times of deep aching in our souls and yet though there is no reason by the mind and reason of man that we should have come through, we stand and the Lord has been at our sides at all times. We have learned to live by faith and to trust our Lord with our tomorrows. Jesus lives and has not changed he still is Lord of all creation and is faithful to his children. Like a baby learning to walk we too must accept that there will be bumps and falls but our father is there walking with us teaching us and watching over us.

I can’t get to church right now, due to my disability, I was glad I took time to listen to Pastor Wilkerson, the Lord put it front of me, I cried as I listened, it was meant for me to listen. My favorite preacher and feel God lead me to him. Sad that he's no longer living, but we can still hear his prophetic wise words from the Holy Spirit. Guess God bigger plans in heaven for him.
