Someone playing a remix of video game music in a different style than expected (rock, metal, hip-hop, etc), an orchestra playing an orchestrated version of a game track, or someone recreating music from a game using an unexpected instrument, is nice. However what you do is, in my experience, so much more impressive. Taking these songs and somehow recreating them using real instruments (both traditional and non-traditional) while still perfectly maintaining the tone and integrity of the original 16-bit productions is remarkable. Your ear for music and different instruments is crazy... and your ability to apply that ear and amazing attention to detail to these creations is quite possibly the best I've experienced. I absolutely love your uploads, I can listen to them on repeat and they never lose their luster or get "old". You manage to transport me back to my childhood, with how perfectly you recreate these songs, yet simultaneously create a new listening experience in the process. It is somehow both nostalgic and a brand new thing all at once. It really is uncanny, and just downright amazing work. Literal chills every time I listen to your creations. The selfish part of me wishes you uploaded more often, but the part of my brain that knows how much energy and time these masterpieces must take to create understands quality of this level would likely never allow more frequent posts. Thank you so much for what you do and the hard work that goes into it.

@Vican Rare (RAREWARE) was acquired by Microsoft in 2002! The donkey kong rights remained with nintendo but it still the same company! They kept the (almost) same logo and game aesthetic until nowdays. Just look at sea of thieves and whoever is a donkey kong fan can see the design resemblance.

I made a playlist of them and whenever they’re on, he sits in the middle of the living room, crossed legged and really gives them his attention (which is a tough thing to hold when dealing with a toddler). There's a lot to be happy about in this arrangement, but for whatever dumb reason I can't get over the unnecessarily dramatic way you set up the snare drum cuts before the horn comes in :) It's just a shred of creative editing that gives the whole thing an extra personality flare that I love.

@@poudink5791 To begin with, it's quite unique. I haven't heard anything like it, not even close, including the other songs from the DKC series. The sound is fantastic for SNES standards (try listening with headphones) especially the ambience and effects, gotta love that guitar feedback at the beginning. Finally, the song is just great composition-wise, the marimba is as catchy as it gets lol, the "drop" (at 00:47 on this video) always gives me shivers, and the melodic part that comes after that is simply beautiful. It's a surprisingly good match for the creepy factory setting in the game, and that's what makes it a top-notch piece of videogame music.
