It was unfortunately censored by the Portuguese public channel that aired this telenovela. A couple of years later they didn´t censor kisses between the gay characters of the telenovela O Beijo do Escorpião. The same actor who performed as David here, Duarte Gomes, interpreted the character of Miguel, a captain pilot who fell in love with his copilot Paulo.
