Baptism is a description of ~union with God~ and the redeeming of all sins that can not take place without Divine Grace Let us take a moment to examine Baptism. It is the verse in the New Testament that describes union with Christ (Galatians 3:27) “You were baptized into union with Christ, and now you are clothed, with the life of Christ himself” . The main question we must ask our selves here is “who is able to tell us the method (Baptism) by which Lord Jesus (God Logos) will accept to be UNIDED with us? Is it the philosophy or the imagination of man…. or is it the Holy Spirit who could be the ONLY ONE who could reveal to us the way to this immaculate and indescribable union with God! It is only common sense that it would be God (the Holy Spirit ) to be the ONLY ONE to reveals to us the way to UNION with HIM during Baptism and the Divine Life that would enable man back to His presence! This is why the Holy Spirit delivered to the Apostles 85 Holy Apostolic Canons that included the WILL of God ONCE AND FOR ALL for the Salvation of all man kind! Most of the Apostles became Bishops in order to go around the world and create Churches and Baptize (union with God) in the name of the Farther the Son and the Holy Spirit! In the New Testament 1 Peter 1, 16] “Be Holy because I am Holy ” Man becomes Holy and "sainted" by participation in the holiness of God. To be Holy is to become ~a new creation~ by participating with the Holiness of God! This is how Paul describes His personal experience, as being a new creation part man part god (by the Grace of God) (Gal 2:20) “So that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me” Paul admits that God (Christ) lives in him, making him this way part man and part god a god-man by His Grace, a way of being never seen on heaven or earth before. [Galatians 6:15] “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature”. So the heavenly Kingdom is NOT a “place” it is “a way of being” a UNION of man with God Creator Himself, begotten and experienced from this here life. (Luke 17:21) No one will say, “Look here it is”! Or, “There it is!” because the Kingdom of God is within you”. This is how the Apostles and the Saints did/do their miracles…it is not man that does them it is God (Holy Spirit) within!The words in (John 17:3) “knowing you” mean knowing the Lord PERSONALLY and not philosophically as by knowing Him by the reading of the Holy Bible alone! If the Salvation does not include the return to the presence of God...what good is it? You must now be filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel, to teach them and to make disciples. He knew that the disciples would be ineffective without the baptism of the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, Paul and the disciples all preached about this powerful experience. It is not an add on for the Christian it is a necessity if you want to have a powerful effective life and ministry. Some teach that this experience is not for today but that is not what the bible teaches. Peter said on the day of Pentecost that the promise was to all even as many as the Lord our God Calls. Jesus said if you ask the Father for a fish you won’t get a snake, if you ask Him for bread, He won’t give you a rock and if you ask for the Holy Spirit the Father will not give you a demonic Spirit. Don’t be cheated or deceived by those who twist God’s word and tell you this experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues is not for you or for today. Ask the Father to fill you and baptize you in His Holy Spirit and He will do it! Please let us know if you gave your life to Jesus or received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit! God Bless you!!!
