That's my photo, taken in 2002 in Chikuni after I recorded him, and his son Steven with backing vocals on one song. From that recording session the songs 'Maggie' and 'Kalinda' are on the cd SWP 019 'Zambia Roadside - Music from Southern Province', and on the cd SWP 056 'Southern Province Mix' (1 of 4 cds in the media book SWP 053 'Luangwa to Livingstone' with 48-page booklet) the song 'Balozi Bandicima'. He is a folk music hero of Southern Province, always told it how it was, on the level of Bob Dylan.

@@DavidAndishZambia He's talking about a woman who was cheating on her husband with a boyfriend she had before she got married. Her husband was able to catch her because she had left her bulungu(beads worn by Tonga women around the waist or neck) in the bush where she was meeting her lover.
