I started with think and grow rich then ask and it is given, then Micky Singer both untethered and surrender, which led to autobiography and after that a flurry of Abraham, Dispenza, a little bit of Bruce Lipton....Its been a great journey, I never felt stuck just keep evolving. As long as I feel like I am better than I was yesterday and I keep evolving, I am happy to keep exploring.

An amazing place to reach in personal growth is getting to the point where it’s no longer “personal”. There is a point where you find the only growth is found in ditching the “personal” self focused ego trip and you start dedicating more and more time and effort focusing on serving others. We are all one. If you want your personal experience to be better- serve others.

Amazing episode David. As I was watching this I’m saying to myself man…… he’s telling my story, spot on. Did the AA, was addicted, sex, drugs, booze. That ended in 2013. Been on this journey ever since. The breakthroughs have been nothing short of miraculous. Then I got to a point like you said where I was becoming addicted to personal growth. All the books, AB of a yogi, richest man in Babylon, the secret, think and grow rich, rich dad poor dad, the power within, etc. when I say all the books, all the books. I’ve boiled it down to what you’ve said. We all must live in the down regulated state. This is where your power lies. This realization has opened up a new realization, I’m on the cusp of something huge! Keep it up David. Your ENTIRE story is like the foreshadowing of my life. From my perspective of course. So happy you’re here sharing your journey with all. And genuinely feel blessed to have sought and found a role model like yourself. Your story is my story brother. Keep it up bro. You are here for a very impactful reason. Nothing but love. Oh and yoga. Do yoga. It sorts all this out. Haha

What you are saying made me think of this scripture that I’ll share below. The Bible also says there is nothing new under the sun. The older I get and the more I see, I realize the truth to that. Here is the scripture I want to share. - “Bring every thought into captivity" is a phrase from the Bible, specifically 2 Corinthians 10:5, which means to actively control and align all your thoughts with the teachings of Christ, essentially taking control of your mind and not letting negative or harmful thoughts dominate your thinking; it signifies a deliberate effort to maintain a positive and God-centered mindset. Key points about this phrase: Spiritual warfare: The imagery of "captivity" implies a battle against negative thoughts that can be seen as enemies in a spiritual sense. Obedience to Christ: The goal is to make every thought "obedient to Christ," meaning aligning your thinking with God's will. Active process: This isn't just about passively thinking good thoughts, but actively challenging and replacing negative thoughts with positive ones based on scripture.

Hi David, I have been down the same rabbbit hole as you have quite literally. I resonate with you 100%. Right now you are taking personal development to a whole new level. Whilst other teachers like tony robbins do generate awareness and do a great job, your pragmatic approach is at another level altogether and actually equips the student with not just the intellectual principles which have been around for decades but to actually experience the results for themselves by using the technologies you offer. In short this is the MISSING LINK. The decision matrix which I am working through at the moment is a game changer for starters. I am a muslim bu faith and study the koran but for the first time in my life after coming across your material I can see with so much clarity and resonance between self development and the spiritual teaching of any book be it the koran, bible, veda etc . I could literally write a whole chapter given you praises for the work you do and the message you are putting out there. I would have come to your powerful living experience event this March but sadly it falls in the middle of Ramadan. Perhaps next year my friend. god bless you

Oh my, wow! Talk about getting into the nuts and bolts of personal growth. This was fantastic! Dave has fascinating stories and is spectacular at communicating. I guess a bit of synchronicity is here because I recently began to consciously make an effort to calm my nervous system. It was only in the last year that I realized I've functioned in the primal state for more than a decade. I took care of my mom when she was diagnosed with colon cancer, and later, my dad, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. That incessant primal state made me ill and I was eventually diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Cushing's. My entire endocrine system was messed up. As a former competitive athlete, it was devastating. It's been a long journey and thankfully I'm much better now. Thank you Dave for your honesty and authenticity. You give us here in the community such a wealth of information that is impactful and tangible. God bless you.

David you have a special gift for distilling the keys to peace, happiness and personal growth into a few really powerful concepts. If only I had known these ideas as a child, I would have had such a more fulfilling and stress free life. I believe someone should begin teaching these ideas to kids in a fun and exciting way. Imagine a whole generation of kids growing up knowing these incredible self-love practices. You are the person who could do it David. Many of those clients and followers of you have kids, and I bet they would jump at the chance to have you help their children achieve their dreams. Please consider writing a book or course aimed at empowering children.

It is okay to accept and follow Christ. That will come with losing subscribers, clients, etc. But it will bring on news ones. It is not easy, it gets deep. It exposes topics like sin, conviction, and obedience. My observation, for what it is worth, the holy spirit and stirring your heart and you are being called to shift your message. You are helping me in my journey David. Similar story trying to find ourselves in the battlefield of the mind. Maybe this is speaking to you as an answer to questions you may have with Christ. If not, just following my heart on my observation from this episode. 😉

I'm also listening regularly to David Ghiyam, and i find that there is so much overlap, so many similarities (although you are often using different words, or look at it from another angle) ... i'd pay serious money (or donate to a charity of your choice) if you guys go and have a conversation together, do an interview, or just a chat ... that would be so awesome.

David, I've been following you since November. The Decision Matrix has changed my life. I've tackled my limiting beliefs. But I'm still having the same problem every day: I know what I need to do every day - Do my work; Exercise/Walk; Communicate with Others; and All other good habits. But I don't do these things. My mind sabotages me; it wants to do the easy thing (sit around, watch TV). I understand why the mind/brain does this, but it's detrimental to my well-being and success. Do you have a tool for "Doing the Right Thing Daily"? Thanks!

Through a connection with God, I have begun disciplining people to find and apply the Word of God in way they’ve never or inconsistently achieved through traditional church teachings. What people have taught about the God of Bible, no wonder people don’t like Him! He’s gotten a bad reputation by the people who profess to know Him! I am willing to walk with you on this journey, David. Please reach out if you’d like to pursue this. Blessings and favor upon you!

Spiritual evolution and the two modes of existing were there from the first man. There were always some people that worked on themselves, but in the premodern world, those were a subtipe of the religious people ( not every religuius person is a searcher). At present, with the loss of religiosity in the West those folks in good amount are found in the selfimprovement community.
