David - Outstanding video as all your videos are; but could you help me out. Would it not be more accurate to say that the OSPF routes are TAG 10's and the EIGRP are TAG 20's? In the topology you place the TAG 10 label on the EIGRP side, and TAG 20 on the OSPF. Is that backwards, or am I backwards (lol)?

Hi David, I think you did it wrong because according to Cisco when you do tagging, you deny the opposite side not the side that redistributing routes. For example: Route-map OSPS->EIGRP deny 5 Match tag 10 // Deny tag for EIGRP Route-map OSPS->EIGRP Permit 10 Set tag 20 // To redistribute OSPF route. Thank you. I've gotten all the way to CCNP Service Provider but never really used tags.

For anyone who is struggling like I was here's how i broke it down. The part i went fuzzy on was the route maps, I now understand there are two route maps made. Inside each map there is set of IF THEN statements, (OSPF->EIGRP) if tagged with 10 go through, if tagged with 20 don't (this stops redistributing routes originating from own routing domain learnt from neighbouring routers) this route map sets the tag to 10 for redistributed routes, and we are denying tag 20 routes OSPF, we are denying tag 10 routes each route map has a statement setting the tag of what the redistributed route becomes.
