Another cracking video. Another nav backup I have, that not many know, is that you can download the map of your area of operation on google maps. Even without reception it will use the gps in your phone to show your location, lat/long as well as geographical handrails. Everyone carries a phone yet don't know the features that could save you in a pinch.

If you need help remembering Lat and Lon just remember the song "Changes in Latitudes". Lowering your latitude will typically put you in a warmer more tropical climate.

Worth noting that Lat/Long aren’t square on the map, if it was built for UTM/MGRS. That throws a lot of people off in practical application.
