David as a mom with a son my advice to you would be to have 3 things bundle for your life. Living expense Taxes and Retirement. Toys are on a different level iPad Games, Movies Etc. Since you do have a business Ebay! . Maybe take so much out of each sale no matter how small it is and split it among those three things. Your living is Everything Insurances Mortgage Food Clothes. You know what I mean! And Taxes is Just That only for Taxes. Retirement would mean Just that Retirement Stuff! It is like your parents would tell you almost your number 1 Goal should be looking out for your future. You never know when it, the money may dry up so put some away! Remember also eating out does add up soft drinks and coffee's add up. Great Video Thumbs Up

No one likes to owe taxes but I have learned to look at it this way. If you were due a refund then the government basically used your money for free last year, when you owe then you got to keep more money during the year at no additional cost/fee if that makes sense.

Fellow David! Please forgive the unsolicited advice - have you ever thought of setting up a Quickbooks account for your ongoing accounting? I've been self-employed for the past 5 years, and it's helped to know where my profit is month-over-month, to get a better idea of where taxes will fall at the end of the year. Anyway, keep up the great content. Always look forward to your vlogs.

I would set up a separate bank account (if you don't have one already) purely for taxes. then after every sale or untaxable income, add a percentage to this account and don't touch it all year. I've done this before, and it worked out well for me.
