Welcome to the weekly live Q&A with Pastor David Guzik, author of the Enduring Word Bible commentary. After our lead question, Pastor David takes questions via the live chat - simply add your questions & our moderators will arrange & deliver them to Pastor David according to theme or subject!
This week, Pastor David's lead question comes from a KZbin comment from Marissa:
"David I have a question: I recently heard a Pastor make the assertion that Jesus himself said (no scripture quoted) that the generation that sees Israel become a nation again (in 1948) will not die out before all end time events have unfolded. Is this biblical? Thanks!"

2:50 Lead Question
14:40 is not a generation “120 years,” according to the bible?
18:25 Doesn't the word GENERATION also mean RACE, FAMILY?
20:30 How about using 120 years, from Genesis 6:3? That would be the year 2068.
22:30 When Jesus rose on the third day, was He still man? Or was He Spirit in the flesh? God bless you & all involved with Enduring Word.
26:40 What are the ways in which our will is not free?
30:35 Is it wrong to be in a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship according to the Bible?
33:15 Regarding the “Generation not passing away” potentially being a race or peoples, I keep thinking of God making “One new man" out of Jews and Gentiles, so the "race" of Jews may not be Jews AFTER the millennium. So that the Generation (race) of the Jewish people would remain until that “One new man” was created - Maybe that's too far fetched?
35:50 What about using dating apps? (to find dates that would lead to Marriage, of course)
Is that not appropriate for Christians or wrong according to the Bible?
37:45 (Against turning the traditions of man into the commandments of God)
38:55 I've been arguing about God's existence with 2 friends that say they're open to being convinced, but that they want me to "fully, logically prove" that God exists. I've tried every argument I have, even my testimony, but it's not enough for them. Am I wasting my time?
43:15 How to live in unity with the Spirit?
46:46 If we believe in God now are we guaranteed to be in heaven? Or do we have to complete our life following Him all the way through, and Then we go to heaven?
49:49 I recently heard someone speaking on the "council of heaven". Who is this council and what is their function?
51:30 Is “the Passion of the Christ” historically accurate? as in the clothing, the way the set is made ect? And should I watch It as a Christian?
53:25 Does John 3:5 mean you must be baptized to enter Heaven? Mark 16:16 seems to suggest that this is not so as it say " he who does not believe will be condemned". Or is it that there is no baptism anyway because there is no belief? Please let me know your thoughts.
56:15 I saw where tests were done about the blood of Jesus Christ, I don't keep up with latest discoveries etc, I assume they took samples from the tomb, the cloth, which they say was with Jesus etc... anyway they supposedly tested the DNA, which proved his Father could not have been human… Does this story hold water? Or is this a lot of generous science proving this?
57:45 My friend asked why was the Old Testament written? I can't seem to satisfy the question. please help!
58:20 For those guilty of infidelity when they separate, as long as they don’t remarry, they are not guilty of adultery, correct?
59:05 Should christians ( especially pre-trib believers ) think so much about these eschatology topics, as we'll be removed before antichrist, tribulation, etc.?
1:00:05 The church my wife and I have been going to is cessationist. This is how my wife believes also, but My experience and scriptural understanding shows me the opposite, I'm a continuationist. We collide on this issue constantly, and it has been hard on our marriage. Any council?
1:02:00 I'm only 3 years old in Christ, and I'm wondering why in Numbers 11, the people complained and wanted flesh to eat. Weren't they sacrificing animals and eating them?
1:03:27 Why should we pray for Jesus to return again soon, considering there are still a lot of people who are not yet saved and in need of God’s grace of salvation?
1:04:40 What ways can I abide in Christ so that I am not ashamed of myself at his coming?
