I praise the Lord for this study. I am in a new season of my life, evidenced by a crossing over and I felt the Lord leading me to see how He did it with Joshua and Israel. I am encouraged knowing that God is using my life as a witness and I get to memorialize His great work so those who come behind and my children may know who God is and His miraculous powers. Bless you man of God.

This sermon is such a blessing ~ 💚 I thank the Lord for the nourishing spiritual food He provided through Pastor David. I honestly learnt a lot of new things today - e.g. God still provided manna throughout Israel’s WHOLE journey to Canaan - I always thought it was just a one time thing back in exodus 16 with the manna and quail and after they were complaining God must have stopped - but no, Gods mercy and grace are always upon His people. Such a caring and loving God we have. To Him be all the Glory. Amen 🙏

Another way THIS chapter 4 of Joshua point to JESUS, by remembering how his sacrifice divided the rage River) against his people so that they would not be harmed and thus fulfilling his promise for the chosen to reach the goal for the GLORY of the ETERNAL .

i was also pondering how it was the priests holding the ark of the covenant ‘presence of God’ on the dry ground that allowed the people to cross over. Just like how Jesus is the ONLY way we can access or ‘cross’ into the promise. It is by believing in Him and being led by His presence into the promise.
