Rebbetzin Jungreis was one of the key people that made me want to convert to Judaism, I had a Conservative conversion, but now I am seeking Orthodox after 10 years. I hope to move to Israel when I retire in 4 years. My heart breaks for her children. She was full of encouragement and joy. She was like everyone's grandmother!

A Thank you Note from one of the Rebbetzins many Talmudim When I used to go every Thursday night to hear Rebbetzin Jungries’s Torah class In her shul on the upper west side, we’d always hear stories of how people’s lives were turned around by Torah, and how years later they’d come back to the Rebbetzin unrecognizable, now with a beard and pesos telling her of how she pointed them in the right direction, and how now they were now living a Torah life . So Baruch Hashem 20 years later it’s a privilege to be part of that illustrious group. I too am blessed with a beard and peyos and 4 children in Yeshiva. Praise the Lord! Years later when I finally got to read Rashi on the inside, it was a pella that Rebbetzin Jungreis’s words were straight out of Rashi. Chumash rolled off her lips in a way most people speak about preparing a their favorite dish. When the Rebbetzin taught us Chumash it sounded like she was teaching on the ‘outside” yet.. It was unadulterated Torah directly on the “inside” it was straight Rashi. Her gift of teaching did not go to waste on me or any of the thousands of Jewish souls touched by her gift of giving over Torah. She will be missed but her legacy lives on from her many children, whether they be her biological family or the thousands of Torah students around the globe. With greatest love and appreciation to the holy Rebbetzin Jungreis, may her neshama continue to have an Aliyah

There are women in the audience listening and they are sitting behind a partition separating men and women during the religious service. Cameraman shoot on both sides of partition as he was confined to one area during presentation. As far as women speakers, for the most part women don't get up to speak in front of men. Rebbetzin Jungreis was an exception and given permission from big Rabbis.

There is a biblical commandment not to cut certain areas of the beard. Not to cut takes on different interpretations. The strictest being not to touch it at all, the most lenient holds you can not put a razor to certain parts of the face and they cut with scissors (certain electric scissors allowed as well, certain Nurelco shavers ok)
