I was in my freshman/sophomore years of high school in 2017, and CHH was all I listened to. Such a fundamental piece of the mentality I have towards music today and the way I think in general. It was fun to watch this as a retrospective.

@@BigHomie2025 the hga’s are good, but not the level of today we rebel. it’s fine he went that route, but if he went the concept album route again it would be fire. and cc3 is still a good album tho yes, it is the weakest of the 4

The golden era of CHH. This was the music i grew up on. Ngl ive been slacking on CHH in the recent years of my life (for many reasons). But man, this video brings back so many fond memories of my life. NF, Magic Bird, Brasel, RG, KB, man! These artists defined an era in my life Thanks David, you were always a real one. Bless up

Ty puts everyone to shame with his melodies, whatuprg has let me down he had potential imo, and Hulvey is being pushed like crazy with very Christ centered music, nothing will beat the early 2010s 116 run before and after Lecrae Grammy

I think the peak of Christian hip-hop was 2011-2014. 2017 already beginning Christian hip-hop is to worldly and there's to much new rapper there.

I miss when Christian Rap was actually Biblical. Most of the mainstream CHH artists became lukewarm and too pro-black and too Liberal. When I first got introduced to Christian Rap in 2010 my freshman year at the University of Connecticut by my friend I was listening to rappers who were on fire for God. He put onto Lecrae, Dee-1, The Cross Movement. The Cross Movement was on fire for God. Lecrae was on fire for God. I don't know what happened because two members of The Cross Movement from what I have seen have deconstructed. Lecrae just isn't that guy he once was. He's become too pro-black and Liberal. Dee-1 is still on fire for God. I like his song called "Lukewarm". Lukewarm Christians need to be called out. Anyway, I just miss when Christian Rap was Biblical. That's why I just listen to Biblical rappers like Tyson James, Bryson Gray, Marcus Rogers, Isaiah Robin, ASAP Preach, Brother Bo, Bryann T, MTM Isaiah, Kijan Boone. I listen to CHH artists like them. I listened to KB heavily in the past.

98% of the artist in this video are just rappers that are Christian not Christian rappers. Yeah some of the music sounds good, but I do not hear Christ being glorified he’s more of the sprinkles on the cake instead of the cake itself.
