There is definitely a way to stay logged in. Can't remember how I did it but I have it setup with myself permanently logged in. Another feature I didn't like so much is that the ball tracer just sort of flashes like a comet in the sky showing the direction of the ball rather then the full arc of the ball flight that you get on the other simulators. Today whilst mucking around I found that I could change that in my login Preferences. Under Main View Tracer you can change it from Comet, the stock setting, to Solid or Echo. Not sure what Echo is and haven't tried it but Solid gives more of a full arc of the flight like the Garmin App, Awesome Golf and most other simulators. Strange that this is not an option in the general settings.

Does every Garmin r10 come with the free version of e6 that has a few 18 hole courses to play? I haven’t found that on the garmin website at all but that’s a big draw for me over getting the Rhapsodo mlm2pro if it’s true. Thanks!

I agree with you Awesome Golf range experience is far better. For me, I decided to get E6 mostly for the fun part of playing different golf courses, and the E6 Connect Online tour; and then I ended up upgrading to GSPro, which is miles ahead in terms of fun, graphics and number of courses (but you need to buy a PC), although I still think the Awesome Golf range is better if your main focus is training

Sometimes people get really passionate about their favourite simulator, but at the end they are all pretty good in my view but have slightly different use cases. For instance, GSPro is really great to play many courses, but really I can't use it at the range (unless I bring my laptop, and somehow find a power plug there), so E6 is a better fit in that case

I'm really tempted to switch to GSPro as well. Which launch monitor are you using with it? I'm a Skytrak user so I'm a little put off because it isn't officially supported but it looks solid. Also don't want to spend money on a computer :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but another problem with E6 is that you can't customize the clubs in your bag. At least as a Guest user. I have three clubs in my bag that I can't even get numbers for.

I have not seen the fade bias. I am a lefty and always hit draws and it picks that up, so maybe it is just right curvature bias???

Agree AG great for practise 🏌🏼‍♂️ On the e6 app practise ground do you use the multi colour target 🎯 bottom right of screen ? Set that at distance aiming at then gives you percentages in each segment of target if you hit it ! That’s quite a neat feature on e6 practise ground . ……quite subtle draws on the AG …….⛳️….Cheers C’mon Ron

Your videos are so helpful, thanks so much. 1 - also have noticed the fade bias on e6 which is super annoying. My miss is a severe hook and it’s impossible to see that on e6. 2 - hate how there’s no table to compare shot data! 3 - small minor issue but no shot tracer like AG! Seems like the best option for people who want to practice with accuracy and want to play courses is to pay for AG and use free e6 🤷🏾‍♂️. Or get a gaming PC and pay for GSpro, any experience with that and how does it compare to AG/E6?

I have also noticed the fade bias on e6. David, I’m having trouble understanding what paid and unpaid options I have in these two apps. Does awesome golf only give free access during the trial and that’s it? I just finished the trial right before the update so now I’m just on e6 for the next few weeks. The prices just seem really high for a sim in my opinion. I just want to practice. I don’t vacare about having a bunch of courses!

Awesome golf requires a paid subscription outside of the free trial to use any features. E6 offers range and 5 courses free with Garmin R10. Pay if you want more courses.

I tend to agree, David. I use Awesome Golf exclusively for range, approach and data work. I also like the courses included with AG. I "wish" the Home Tee Hero courses at least had the better graphics of AG... or even E6 but alas, for $90 a year what can you do? LOL

E6 is more about virtual course, not range sessions. Awsome golf is actualy a range software so yeah, i hope it do it well or there is nothing to look for in AG. I do agree that i tend to value more work session in my simulator, so will most probably switch to gspro for course simulation and AG for range or stay with Garmin.

You’ll love it mate. The Spornia nets are fantastic. E6 offers a free version with the R10 that gives you those few courses and some other things. Awesome golf offers a once off lifetime subscription which is in my opinion the best option. There’s also a cheaper option for awesome golf but then you need to pay an ongoing fee which isn’t very attractive really. You do have the option to do the free 14 day trial with awesome golf so I suggest you do that and try it out 😁

E6 doesn’t seem to track attack angle either. It isn’t shown in the analytics section on their website. I think I will be switching to Awesome Golf for my practice sessions but will still use E6 for the free course play. Thanks David, this was helpful!

Your avgs are on the main screen, in each box, they appear as the small numbers across the top. But I agree this could really be improved to make it more friendly, especially when trying to do fits.

I've played other simulators and find the range vs course is always a bit different. On the range I seem to hit straighter. On the course not so much. E6 is nice with the free courses. They both have their place. Like anything technology. If you don't evolve you will get left behind.

E6 is free for driving range and 5 courses to play also data is at least saved to review afterwards using mine outdoors in bright sunlight and live data is not that easy to view anyway. I have mine permanently logged in without any problem. It would be nice if Awesome Golf had a cheaper price just for the range facility, the rest of it I did not find of interest. Garmin range is not as good as Awesome or E6.

Every thing that you are stating seems to be subjective and some is user discrepancy. First you Donn't have to log in every time if you change that in settings. Fade bias or draw bias is all determined by how the r10 is set up. I noticed everything was going left for me and my stop shot is a fade, so I turned the r10 an 1/8" and it was corrected. I like e6. I had AG and thought it looked cartoonish aside from the range there is not much else worth a damn on AG. Also e6 blows for actually playing a round, it just frustrates me. I just use my r10 for the driving range and getting swings in while it's cold or at night. I don't put too much faith in all of the numbers aside from distance because when set up alongside Trackman or Quad4 that's one of the only things that seems to be close to accurate. Don't get me wrong, I love the r10 and I've been able to change my swing for the better because I get the reps in and have some visual feedback

To be totally honest on what my next step is going to be, it will probably result in moving up to Bushnell Launch Pro. I would like to have more accurate spin (I use RCT's), shot shape, club path, position on face, and so on. Until then though I'll just stick with e6 on the r10

GSPro would be the best option for the Garmin R10 but not all simulators. TGC2019 is also fantastic and the new skytrak+ update that is about to be released is unbelievable, leaves GSPro for dead
