Heya! I was wondering how did Paolo manage to work with the local and national government. I remember that Disney wanted to build a waterpark there in Coron with the same goal of giving jobs for the local tribes but the national government passionately decline it because the scale of the development would destroy the ecosystem. Us Filipinos sometimes get overprotective of our nature, so I admire that Paolo was able to work with the government seeing now that the existing system they have is very friendly to the nature. Maybe it is also because of his fiancé who made a lot of impact too from behind the scene, assuming that his fiancé is Filipina. And the fact that Paolo felt like they are family is very impressive since we have a long history of colonization that is why most of our tribes find it difficult to work with a foreign. Having said that, Filipinos are still hospitable and very open minded about exploring and preserving the nature. So proud of Paolo and his life-time impact, also to the local Filipino tribes there.

I feel you on the goose/swan thing. Like, they're probably working their asses off around the clock to run this kind of place with that quality, so everything you do that impacts the overall aesthetics feels like a crime when you're a compassionate person. Hell, when both my parents worked full-time, we'd have a cleaning woman come once a month and I felt bad about using the nice little fold she did with the toilet paper.

I once stayed at my dads freinds house boat in lake Powell Arizona, it was three storys tall, it has a slide, a hot tub, and jet skis. I had so much fun diving in the shallow water in the shore area it was parked in, and the rooms were really nice too. It looked like a mini yacht
