It's strong, lasts long time, all day and next day still you can smell it. Smells of tropical rum cocktail to me mixed with fabric softener. Dry down is better than the opening

Great review... really! I just bought this fragrance. It is definitely mostly a fragrance in the manner of Sauvage and it will be polarizing. It is designed to be a compliment getter and a general purpose scent....mission accomplished. It is not complex. It is the antithesis of what the people who like to analyze fragrance notes and blending in their fragrances etc., etc. It is straightforward. It does what it is intended to do and while it isn’t quite as potent as Sauvage, it is plenty potent enough. Younger guys should like it if they like Sauvage. I like having it alongside my Sauvage. Sometimes you just want compliments and this one will get you those. It’s also a bargain.

I bought it before Christmas and I am saving it for Spring & Summer. Also would smell great at the gym. I love the smell and dry down. Will test longevity and projection once warmer weather hits the place!

I regret blind buying this one. I find it too strong for my liking. This is the first time fragrantica failed me that this is a spring/summer fragrance. I believe this would be perfect for colder weather. I only sprayed two pumps and oops, it's still strong for me. I appreciated it in the drydown though. I live in a country with tropical climate.

Because of your review of the Cool water flankers which I had no idea there were so many I finally got a bottle for Christmas of Cool Water Wave and it's an absolutely wonderful fragrance. Thinking of picking thos up soon . . . I think the problem with collecters is that they believe these Designer Houses' responsibility to to cater to their tastes... sadly it's not. They are in business and as such will more often create fragrances that will be mass appealing and will sell. Collector's noses have developed, but the general market does not have such developed noses. They just want something that smells good, performs, and is cost effective. But fret not haters, their are many other avenues where your tastes can be challenged, like Niche and Indie. I suggest you seek those avenues

i bought it too, recent batch would not perform, do one thing , apply vasline 5 minutes prior applying perfume and then apply atleast 10-12 sprays . it will boost up the performance

recent batches are a joke mine is made in france 2019 an its terrible ,smells like shit and lasts 2 hours max with no projection ....do not confuse it with the old silver sprayer fom 5 years ago that one would fill a room and last all day
