The Pen Y Fan Horseshoe AKA Brecon Beacon Horseshoe is one of the most beautiful hikes I have ever come across. The route I solo hiked totalled 11 miles with 900+metres of elevation gain. This is a great day out in wales and should definitely be on your best UK Hikes wish list!

This was my first time visiting the Brecon Beacons and it was awesome! Pen Y Fan and all the other peaks are so so beautiful, I hope this video inspires you to go and check them out yourself 🥾✨ Where should I go next?

I visited South Wales recently and went on a few walks. If you wanted more places to walk in Wales, I’d recommend doing one of the longer Waterfall walks in the Brecon Beacons or going to Pembrokeshire and potentially doing the Marloes Sands Coastal Path. Both were beautiful!

Great video David, you certainly are great at making relaxing hiking films! Brilliantly shot and edited as always. Done a very similar, if not the same, Route last year and it is one of my favourite to date! So much good views to take in along the way and wasn’t too hard of a climb. Keep up your good work, really enjoying your channel at the minute. All the best, Cheers Joe! 👍🏻

I completed this hike in 2009. It's one of the most beautiful and challenging hikes in all of Europe. I fell into a deep sleep that night after completing the full route. If you ever find yourself in Colorado, give the Manitou Springs Incline a try.

I think this is the most visually impressive video you have done for us yet! Really great to watch and again... Making my hiking boots call to me to be used!! I did a 22km (ish) hike from Hunstanton last week. You don't get the massive hills but you still find little tucked away places and always surprises me how interesting everything is when you give it a few minutes without rushing past. From sand dunes, to mountains and marshland to fields... There's more to discover if you give it the time of day.

Thank you Jonathan!! With every video I make I always do my best to make it better then the last, I spent a lot more time on the color grade of this abs obviously got a lot more drone shots then I have in the past! I’m thinking of going back to a place more local to me next just to challenge myself again and see if I can make Herts/bucks/Bedfordshire look visually appealing! Your hike sounds lovely I’ve never been to that side of England before, I might have to check it out soon!!🥳

Thanks Hollie!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and was inspired! Solo hiking is safer then people think, just make sure you bring enough supplies , send your route to at least two different people, check in with someone once or twice in the day (you get signal at the top of most mountains) and if you want to go that extra mile of safety you could send your live location to a close friend so they can track your progress!! Best of luck with it 😁🥳

The correct title is the Tâf Fechan horseshoe as there are at least 3 other horseshoes based on Pen y Fan. You omitted to mention Craig GwaunTâf,the third highest peak in BBNP and now a Nuttall. It would only take a few minutes to ask someone how to pronounce Corn Du,Pen y Fan and Fan y Bîg.
