He’s using the snare on the right. He’s a left-handed drummer which is why he set the drums up on the opposite direction.

This goes out to all the church musicians and musicians mainly Church musicians what's up with all these click tracks I mean music is supposed to be played with the talent and a gift from God I mean I understand the other instruments playing but at the end of the day please click tracks are getting ridiculous it is taken away the soul in music music is supposed to be felt from the heart tracks are set. And it takes away the talent in my opinion of the actual person because you just playing something you here and anybody can play what they hear play music from the soul is what matters let's get back to the old school days electrical technology sounds awful that all you here is playing over it... you have musicians in churches now they can't even play Shout music without a click track that's awful because back in the days you didn't need no click track and you still have some good church so that's what we need to get back to the old school days expecially in church

Detroit Raymond harris you are right my brother! !
@donaldham12187 жыл бұрын
Detroit Raymond harris So true, its taking over the drumming market. Secondly I was listening to Drummer Chris Coleman saying the same thing, he was talking about how if takes away from the whole purpose of music and how if we aren't careful that's all we as drummers would be seeing and if venture across KZbin that all you see.
@iDrum907 жыл бұрын
Detroit Raymond harris you clearly don't know PROFESSIONAL music. ANY pro musician has always used click tracks ESPECIALLY in gospel music since the 70's. PRO musicians have been click tracks for decades. It's meant to allow the drummer to add fills and still allow it to sound full while also keep the drummer on tempo.
@Alchemymasta7 жыл бұрын
Anyone can’t play with a click track but I understand what you mean it’s so loud it’s like you can’t even enjoy the music. I wanna barely hear the track if I’m in the audience
