If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll probably know that I love Indian food. From flavorful biryanis to succulent masalas, to street foods like pav bhaji, samosas, and pani puri, I can’t get enough.
In 2021, I took an amazing trip to the United Arab Emirates to experience the country’s best Indian food. I wound up spending several days in Dubai, a city known for its exceptional wealth, luxurious accommodations, and legendary nightlife. But it’s also one of the best cities outside of India to experience authentic Indian cuisine! I even caught up with my friend The Food Ranger for some incredible Indian Food!

I’ve eaten my way across the Indian subcontinent across four massive trips that took me to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Trivandrum. Along the way, I fell in love with the unique flavors, spices, and ingredients that Indian cuisine is known for.
With nearly 3 million people of Indian descent living in the UAE, it’s no surprise that their food has become an important part of the local culture. In this documentary, I’m taking you into Dubai with some special guests as we dive into the wonders of Indian food in the UAE. Let’s go!

I have been to Sri Lanka and most of the tourists told me that Sri Lanka is a heaven for vegetarians. Mark Wein & the Food Ranger even had their series in Sri Lanka. It’s a heaven not only for vegetarians but for sea food lovers as well. The food is totally different to North Indian cuisine however, similar to some of the south Indian dishes. I would highly recommend you to do a Sri Lankan series and I am pretty sure that you would never regret it. I have watched most of your videos & absolutely love your content!!!!! I would be really interested in you visiting the food in some other India locations. That would be Hardwar (Hari Dwara), Dwaraka, Vrindavan (in Uttara Pradesha [U. P.], Jaganatha Puri (in Oddisa [formally called Orrisa] and Mayapur (in West Bengal). Also I would be interested in you doing reviews of the Govinda's The Higher Taste restaurants. Tried them at Mr. basic - Jamie's to Mr. overpriced - Gordon to many other places and smaller cities of UK...still doesn't come close to Indian food maturity, flavours and diversity by a Trillion Light years. I mean the Scottish Haggis, or the rabbit meat pies in Oxford have more flavours that the boring and bland FnC. That's why if you take out Indian or other Asian food influences from UK....only Italian and French remain as decent food options.

Yes I do and it is horrible to read about those things. I try my best to go to a country and focus on Food Culture and without judgement. I try to leave social commentary to more political channels or documentary styled content. However in many places I visit there is definitely poverty and deep social problems. I would never deny that and my heart aches for the billions of people struggling with poverty and the sheer amount of injustice in the world.
