@nyg07manning Yea he swapped a VW Jetta turbo diesel engine into his Dodge Caravan(he has actually used it in two Caravans now). It is also a 5 speed and gets like 50+ mpg. I think it would be a pretty neat little van to have lol

had 3 peugeot 106's, all had the 1124cc TU1 engine with 8 valves, 1 overhead camshaft, 60bhp, 89nm torque, single point fuel injection and they never rusted. they could take some abuse but never were any good parked upside down

engine is a 1100 with 45kW, but the weight is only 768kg's. That helps alot.

S1 Peugeot 106 1.1 with 60bhp, SOHC 8v with spi fuel injection and 3 stud wheels...Oh I have one of these except a newer 3 door :P

hes right, european cars do have more compression, its normal to run 10.5 to 1 compression even on quite primitive engines [personal experience], by the way, you should never try burnouts with a 106 as i consider the clutch to be a weak point, ive actually had to help replace a clutch plate on a 106 and they are 1.5 days work and an absolute c**t to do
