Bought one of these performance boards a couple months back, and they're awesome! If you're looking for a board nicer than the modest Techdeck, but don't wanna spend $300 on one, it's perfect.

Not really, my performance deck didn’t hold up that well, just after a couple of months (not that much using) it has lost all of its pop, the plastic once instead holds up very well, even if they don’t look new anymore (for sure) they perform still like at the first day… So instead to buy this performance crap its way smarter (if your are really into fingerboarding) just to buy a normal tech deck and tune it for the amount of money you have… In my case I still use 3 plastic tech decks regularly, one is my bath setup (reshaped, riptape, Chinese single axis trucks and wheels from ASI Berlin overall costs 25 bucks), one for the kitchen (reshaped, riptape, Chinese single axis trucks, level up bushings and create your skate wheels for around 45 bucks) and a high end wet weather setup (reshaped, riptape, ASI shop trucks 3.0, level up bushings and teak/apex urethane wheels for around 70 bucks)… All of those are meanwhile nearly a year old and still performes like on day one… The performance series is nearly as old as two of the named setups and I rarely use it anymore cause lost all of the pop it has to beginning just after 1-2 months of irregular using… So if you ask me, the plastic boards they made are by far better then the wooden decks they produce and for that they are just a waste of money in my eyes… Even my first own pressed boards are seems to be way better then this and I didn’t have the knowledge of 3 decades of fingerboarding like tech deck, but my decks seems to hold up way better then the tech deck performance series but tbh, there I am still in the long Therme Test (if wanted I can give an update in 2-3 months…), so maybe I get the same issues in 1 or 2 months even if I can’t imagine that cuz my boards are just way better produced with a pretty good amount of love in any single deck…

I’m 35, with a kid into these... and I still have some OG decks from early 2000s, and I snagged one of those OG size wooden decks... my kid got some of these bigger boards, I have a hybrid with the newer bushings and new tape on the old size wood... You’ve inspired me to get better... I have a mean Ollie and I can get a flip started, but never land the same trick consistently... your shit is mesmerizing... show some slow mo...

- I have one, and the bushings start to wear down after a month of use. But you can easily replace them with those rubber bracelets. I also thought it would have bearing wheels... Anyways, these are $12 USD and Broken Knuckle is $20 USD. Same quality but broken knuckle comes with bearing wheels. The thing is, you have to wait for shipping, so, if you really want bearings, but want to FB ASAP, get one of these Tech Decks, and order the bearing wheels seperately.

I’ve actually seen these in target but they’re never in stock. I grew up with the worst of the worst old tech decks. Then a buddy showed me that people make professional wood completes with actual bearings and all. I tried it and fell in love but the fact that tech deck is doing it now and with real graphics from the pros, it’s amazing. I gotta try one of these but with my better trucks and bearing wheels to see if they hold up. It is still a big company so it might be better to buy from a smaller company who does it for the people and not the money. Anyway, great video man.
