48 hours after generating the key? I am so glad I found this video, I had 2 old keys and deleted them both. Regenerated both, and had no idea why they weren't working? This is the first time I heard of the 48 hours they I needed to wait. Try again tomorrow then and hope for the best.

Even if you select large image, the image is still pretty small. But i found that it's easy to change width and height in the html code. After you paste the code onto your website, to change the image size, just change the width and height under "product image source" and then make the product container bigger by changing the width and height under "product container"

thx Julie. additionally i would recommend using for Product container height: auto. This will allow a nice display of the picture, the title and the prime icon. I have something like this: } .paapi5-pa-product-container { width: 300px; height: auto; }

@@user-ko9ju2hn1u I just dropped it inside a container and I centered the content :). I am using GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks but I think you can do that with any Group or Column block.

Thanks for that but I had an issue I follow exactly how you stated did the asin then the large image and ticked the info item all of them as you did. I then ran the request but instead of getting the image it came back with an error message as follows "Error! TooManyRequests The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API." I also then copied the html code just in case but when I went to preview it got another error message there stating Error! TooManyRequests The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API. So not sure what went wrong I followed your instruction to the tee now I can''t move any further any ideas

I believe even though I had those first three sales required which was years ago apparently from what I was told you also need recent sales as well then, those messages will be gone and the image will appear as in the video. But they don't state that only the original three sales. They are very deception and not very helpful with the help desk either they know diddly squat. @@trianglesenioryear8526

Delete your credentials (access key and secret key), then again make both keys by pressing "add credentials". Then add fresh key and check.

it apparently takes 48 hours for your keys to start working. I will check myself if that resolves it. I requested the keys today.

Yes, it's because of waiting for 48 hours! Same thing happened to me but after 48 hours it was all good to go!

Yes, but you have to edit the HTML. If you don't know how to do that then I suggest AAWP or Lasso if you're using WordPress.

First you need to have an approved Amazon Associates account. Second, it takes a few days for your API keys to start working.

This is very helpful. I wouldn't have even known about Scratchpad without this video. So I followed your instructions and they work well until I place the HTML code on my blog. It doesn't look like the rendered image on Scratchpad at all. I get the picture and then lines and lines of title that is not contained to a box and it won't show the Amazon Prime symbol. I have tried a ton of variations on parameters thinking maybe I just needed a different parameter. My best guess is the code doesn't work with a plugin I have on my blog maybe? (I use the Yoast SEO plug in and a couple of others but that is it.) How could I tell what is making the HTML code not work for my blog page? Is there something I should look for or do differently?

Oh you need to be very careful about showing price as you don't want to violate the TOS of the affiliate program. Best to just use a paid plugin if its that important.

The 3rd party plugins obviously have images without the button and they are compliant but I don't know where to get the OK , Amazon customer service don't know much.. Can you make another video just like this but have it show the CURRENT PRICE? I followed this tutorial step-by-step, but I also selected the option for the price and it will not show it. All it shows is the Prime logo underneath the product picture.

Get a plugin then, that get's technical and you don't want to run the risk of violating Amazon's terms of service.

Product boxes convert well. I normally just used the image and text links and had an 8% conversion rate, but now images are gone and it's against the TOS to use images from Amazon. So, if you don't want to pay for a plugin, this process is your best bet.
