I understand the players and manager not wishing to throw Meslier under the bus with the media, but surely behind the scenes they are preparing for a change. Continuing with Meslier in the league would be a serious error of judgement. As for Sam - he's been a warrior for us and has such a positive attitude. He know's when he's done and doesn't overdo it leading to injury.

They re both very good friends. Great people and fantastic footballers. Unfortunately neither are consistently good enough to play in the premier league. I’d be Very happy to be proved wrong.

I was thinking about the window and not sure we need to add that much. In defence we are well covered and just need to play Schmidt but wober and Ampadu can cover LB and CB. We have Debayo too who we should use if pushed. Midfield well stocked inc wingers and Aaronsons numbers are good in No.10 and Solomon or Gnonto are options. Only position I would look at is an attacker and goalkeeper, although would just swap Meslier and Darlow for remainder of season and reevaluate. Not sure there is much out there in Jan that would massively upgrade us.

Sam Byram has been another Farke masterstroke. Byram, Ampadu, Rodon, Struijk, Aaronson, Gnonto, Firpo James, Rutter were all going nowhere before Farke did his magic on them. He even briefly got a tune out of Bamford and made a team that even `Meslier could keep lots of clean sheets in.

Perhaps it already has. 🙂Our squad only contains players who are either very young, or who failed for years under previous managers both here and elsewhere. Piroe was the only proven successful signing Farke has ever had. The rest are players with checkered pasts who he's turned into a good team. No need to wait a year. I'll be celebrating our promotion in May when you'll be left feeling very silly 🙂

Thanks Ger. Byram worth another year. Very good squad player and probably on a low wage as well. Ben Davies would deffo be a good signing and there’s already familiarity with fellow Welsh players so should settle very quickly but not sure it will ever happen. Hope Journo’s ask some tough questions of Farke in presser around tactics and signings.

I'd keep Byram, he is cheap, reliable and a backup. We are always aligned with players we don't need. It must be due to a lack of real news. Meslier (silent S) needs support in his time of need. I am torn as we do not know why the form is slipping backwards.

Problem with meslier is that even if continues to mess up it will only add pressure on darlow should he play it would do no harm dropping meslier for a few games give him a few weeks out of the spotlight

I've lost all faith in Meslier after that last match, I was an apologist before the Hull game, but looking back, these mistakes are becoming consistent, and opposition teams are targeting him. I really hope he proves us wrong because I'm very worried 😢

Davies makes No Sense . He's Not playing much at Spurs + His age + Not a Position we need. As For the presser Farke won't Tell US whats Happening around Transfers only when a Deal ist done. As For the goalie Situation i think there a two choices either get one asap or Stick Meslier Back in For the Championship.
