I done that run for years, the davis turner drivers were the Yellow Packs of the industry, driving better trucks then us, but paid in peanuts. I worked for Lebratrans Roy & Fred and was earning 3 times that. Happy days !!!

My prefered route was. Dover - Zeebrugge, Belgium, west Germany (the wall was still up then), Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and then into Turkey. Nice to see Ronnie at 3:38.
